Fleas are wingless parasites that breed fast and can be very unpleasant in your home. There are around 88 species of fleas in Australia with the ones coming into your home often brought in by pets.
Fleas can live in carpets, pets, clothes and mattresses etc, and feed on the blood of their hosts. Some fleas are quite specific to just one host but others can move from host to host. Adult fleas will mate and lay eggs in the fur of pets and surrounding areas like blankets, carpets, mattresses and bedding.
Whilst some over-the-counter treatments are fine for isolated areas or specific pets, once they have infested your home you will almost certainly need a professional pest controller like Masterkill with over 20 years of experience for a flea treatment that will quickly and effectively remove them from your home.
