We understand that having pest control treatments conducted in your home often entails cleaning up afterwards, but to achieve the very best results, we also recommend tidying the areas that will be treated beforehand as well.
Indoors – The tidier your home, the easier it will be for us to access all those nooks and crannies where cockroaches and other pests make their nests. To help us access the areas where pests are most likely to nest and breed:
- Move furniture (beds, sofas, etc.) away from the walls so we can access the skirting boards
- Remove any food or food products from benchtops and store in the fridge or pantry
- Clear children’s toys and other items off the floor so we can move about easily
Outdoors – As with indoor areas, the tidier the exterior of your home the more effective the pest control treatment will be. To enable us to effectively treat a pest infestation, please ensure the perimeter of your home and fence line is as tidy as possible, as the fewer obstructions the better.
We hope you’ve found these points helpful, however, should you require further advice, please don’t hesitate to contact Masterkill Specialist Pest Control for more information.
